We provide the best tanning equipment. All tanning lamps are maintained and changed before the manufacturer suggested hours. We use a UV meter to determine the output of the lamps and change when necessary not just when the amount of hours suggested is met on the lamp. We usually change them at or before 700 hours and it is suggested to go to 1000 hours on most lamps. The skin is the largest organ in the human body. It has the remarkable capability of rejuvenating and healing itself. It is divided into three layers. The top layer (Epidermis) produces the tan. Indoor tanning protects tanners from burning as easily or as quickly as they would outdoors in the sun. This is accomplished by controlling the amount of UVA and UVB rays that are released through the lamps, along with controlling the amount of time spent in the tanning bed. OVEREXPOSURE is an undesirable result causing SUNBURN. You are the only one that knows your limits! However, the staff at Time 2 Tan will always suggest a safe time for you. We want you to develop a beautiful tan and we always recommend you TAN SMART & DONT BURN!!! Since cells in the epidermis are constantly reproducing and pushing older cells upward, those cells that are brown and tan will eventually be shed, causing your tan to fade. Dry, neglected skin reflects UV light, not allowing it to tan underneath, so remember to MOISTURIZE. Our staff can recommend a great moisturizer or bath gel for you to use.
